Palmdale Glass and Mirror Company originated in 1952. I have owned and operated the company since 1987. We work for many of the major builders, general contractors and developers in Southern California.

Our business is based out of a large concrete tilt-up building in a planned industrial development, which we own.

Our paperwork operations are computerized, from estimating, work orders through invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, materials fabrication and production scheduling. All computer operations are on a local area network.

We inventory approx. $300,000 of mirror, glass, doors and related products. We own a hydraulic glass cutting table and the latest glass edging machinery for fabrication. We also own glass washing and sealing machinery for manufacture of hermetically clean sealed insulated glass units. Our tooling includes punch presses and dies for inhouse manufacturing of many glass related metal products (shower doors & window components). We inhouse cut, fabricate and build all of our own shower enclosures.

We have received the award of "Glass Craftsman of the Year", twice from the
California Glass Association, in addition our residential division has been awarded "Subcontractor of the Year" by a major national homebuilder.

Our residential customers include some of the largest most respected production homebuilders, Centex Homes, D.R. Horton and Pardee to name just a few. We also work for high quality custom homebuilders.

Our commercial division has completed many large intricate projects including: city hall buildings, courthouses, hospitals, schools, shopping centers, factory outlet centers, industrial complexes and office buildings.

We are financially strong, profitable, adequately capitalized, and have excellent credit references.

We have a long term banking relationship with Wells Fargo Bank, small business division.

Our management team is college educated. All of our employees are U.S. citizens. All of our installers are fluent in English and highly literate.

Our company maintains excellent long term relationships with our vendors. Our residential division has used Alumax (Alcoa Aluminum) as our shower door component supplier for 15 years. Our relationship with Andersen Window Corp. is 13 years old. We have grown to become the largest Andersen dealer in CA. We are an "A+" level dealer with Milgard Manufacturing, one of their highest volume dealers.
